While we're looking back, I also want to say thanks to all you regular readers out there. It's been great to read your comments and hear your feedback when I see you out in person. It's humbling to me that people actually read this thing and find it enjoyable. So thanks again and happy new year!

Hey Matt,
I heard about your blog over at A Special Thing - I'm a comedian also trying to get a blog about comedy going, so yours is exactly the kind I want to read, and this post will give me a chance to catch up in style. Hope you're looking forward to a great 2009!
Will, I actually hadn't seen that post ("Comedian Blogs") at AST yet so thanks for the heads up.
Keep up the good work. I only discovered your blog a month or so ago but you have a great mix of personal experience and advice from established comedians/performers.
Also the french insult comedian video was very funny, especially the soda cup thing. Okay enough super specific praise. See you around.
You know I love this blog.
Lord, how many times did I press publish? I've already deleted my own comment twice. Then it looks like I said something mean and took it back. Or gushingly complimentary, and then felt like I came on too strong (Hi Heather). I guess you can't get any stronger than the word, "Love". Just ask Celine Dion. I mean that as a figure of speech of course...I don't expect you to call Celine Dion and actually interrogate her. And who can afford long distance these days? I was only trying to whittle my answer down to one because I didn't want to come off as neurotic.
